FINAL! New Me?!

First year of college is out the way. Yes! But I miss high school. I miss how my teachers were on my back reminding me about project deadlines and when work has to be turned in. I miss eating lunch and studying with my friends. I miss the friendly teachers who I thought were so evil when I was in high school. Now that I look back they weren’t evil they just wanted us as students to be successful in life because they knew we wouldn’t have teachers like them in college. Looking back on my blog post done in Mr.Morean Apps 2 class I feel like out of all my blog posts the one about teen pregnancies is my best critical analysis because I talked about what teen pregnancy is and how it can occur. I also talked about how it has affected many teenagers’ lives as well as their parents’ lives. The hurt but also joy that can come from such an experience will always stick with me about teen pregnancies. I believe blogging will become one of my regular things I’ll do because it helps me express my feelings and it helps me voice my opinion on the internet.  I will become ambassador for social, professional and also academic digital life by continuing to look up things about the news and new technology that is being introduced to the world. I think online media literacy means that we will be learning about the importance of the media online. Its necessary to be literate in out ever growing online social world because besides the newspaper and tv that's how we get most of our information.

New President?!

The New Hampshire Primary Process was held on January 10^th, 2012. It was an election that between multiple Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney, Ron Paul, John Huntsman, Rick Perry, Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich. The top three runners for New Hampshire was Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, and John Huntsman and Mitt Romney won overall with 39% leaving Paul with 25% and Huntsman with 17%. Romney is the first Republican to win back to back for Iowa and New Hampshire. Romney wants to put free enterprise on trial and make a lot of changes dealing with the economy. Other candidates are going to run him out and make openings for others to come in and try to win.Romney compares most of his past businesses to Obama and thinks he can do better.

Middle of my Adventure. . .

I failed after 3 days of not getting on social networks. I got on twitter the third day into the adventure. I feel like I had to get on a social site because I usually tweet when something exciting happens and on that day my cousin fell up the stairs and it was something I had to tweet. I feel like I couldn't waited to tweet because if I did it wouldn't have felt right.

Beginning of my Adventure. . .

Today is the day where I start my adventure to no Twitter and no facebook for a week. This is going to be really hard. I feel like I need to be on social networks to communicate with my friends. When I told my mother about this she said just use your phone to talk to them. But I do I use the phone and social networks. But I really want to try this task and see if I can accomplish it.

Failed my Adventure. . . =((

My mission was to stay off any social network for the whole Thanksgiving break and after 3 days, I have failed. In my mind I felt like I needed to tweet, especially since I tweet almost 100 tweets a day before the task came along. When you are use to doing something everyday it becomes a "MUST". Also I get on facebook everyday just see what's on their and since that was apart of my daily routine I felt as though I had to do it. I really believe I can do it if I don't think about it to hard and since this was Thanksgiving break when a lot of exciting things were happening put more pressure on because I usually tweet something exciting or funny. I think I should try this task again soon.

Addiction to the Cyber WORLD!

I believe only one of the solutions given can help me and that's stop procrastinating. The rest wouldn't work because i can go outside and spend time with family and still tweet or update a status. Remembering the telephone doesn't work well with me either because most of the time I'm on the phone and computer. Some solutions I would give to someone that is struggling with online addictions is make sure all your homework and chores are done before getting on any social networks. Me as a person I believe I am struggling with this addiction because when doing homework I'm on twitter, facebook, oovoo and listening to music. I often get distracted if the person I'm on oovoo with isn't doing homework because they would start talking to me. Also when I have homework that has to be done on the computer I get distracted by twitter and facebook because my computer is already up with the sites pulled up.

Against the Electoral College

I am against electoral college because the voters aren't picking their president. The Senate and the House of Representatives pick the president. When the voters vote their vote goes to the Senate and the HoR. I don't agree with that because when I get older to vote I want my vote to count for the president not the Senate or the HoR. It's not fair because most people think they are voting for their president but they honestly are not. Also what if the "wrong" person comes into office? Than a lot will happen in the world.
